Professional Membership

Since 2012 Dr. Lyudvig Davtyan is a member of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia. He also coordinates the Scientific Analytical Centre of the Chamber since 2014.

Since August 2011 Dr. Davtyan is a member-expert at Swiss Comparative Law Institute of Lausanne.

Since 2014 Lyudvig Davtyan is a member of the board of the School of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia.

Education

Dr. Lyudvig Davtyan has graduated from the Law Faculty of Yerevan State University (YSU) in Armenia both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree with diplomas with honors. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Law by the Council at YSU in 2010.

2008-2009 Dr. Davtyan was an international doctoral researcher at the Forensic Science Institute of the Faculty of Law and Criminal Sciences of Lausanne University, Switzerland.

2011-2012 he was doing postdoctoral research at Lausanne University as an invited professor.

He is also an Alumni of the German-Caucasian Summer School “European Commercial Criminal Law”, DAAD, Humboldt University of Berlin, Batumi, Georgia (September 7-14, 2014).
